ROR for star and non-star hotels in Sumatera Selatan Province in July 2024 respectively by 52.30 and 19.24 percent

Abstract

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels in June 2024 was 52.30 percent, an increase of 1.17 points compared to the previous month's TPK which was recorded at 51.13 percent. Meanwhile, the ROR for non-star hotels for July 2024 was recorded at 19.24 percent or down 0.70 points compared to June 2024.
The highest ROR for star hotels in July 2024 occurred at 5-star hotels, namely 74.93 percent and the lowest for 1-star hotels, namely 41.94 percent.
The average length of stay (RLM) of guests at star hotels is higher than the length of stay for guests at non-star hotels. The average length of stay for guests at star hotels is around 1.34 days, while the average length of stay for guests at non-star hotels is around 1.09 days.
The average length of stay for foreign guests is higher than the length of stay for Indonesian guests at both star and non-star hotels.
